About 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Challenge
The 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Challenge encourages families to read with their children, with the goal of reaching 1,000 books before kindergarten. This fun and manageable initiative promotes early literacy and strengthens family involvement in lifelong learning. This program is for little readers from birth to age 5, with the goal of before they “graduate” from kindergarten! Whether they’re tiny bookworms or big pre-K adventurers, the reading challenge grows with them—adjusting the book count based on their age to keep things fun and manageable.
