What are benefits of this training?

By working in a cohort with other CESA 3 educators, we aim to provide a collaborative and supportive space to share ideas and grow in our learning together. Our trainer, Jim Addison, brings his passion, experiences, and lifelong mission to improve literacy systems to facilitate 12 hours of course accelerators. In these accelerators, he aims to bring research to life and share how the information in the course can directly support educators of all age or grade levels.

How is the course set up?

While the course itself is asynchronous, we have set the pacing up with the busy teacher in mind.

Modules 1-3 will be completed during our first in-person kickoff day at CESA 3 in addition to our facilitated sessions.

Modules 4-8 will be completed separately with two 2-hour sessions to review and extend the material.

Modules 9-11 will be completed on your own time and reviewed at our final in-person session.
